Is it safe space for children ?
Woodland Holiday Club
Safeguarding is of paramount importance to our group leaders.
Children are always kept within line of sight of two or more adults. Our adult to child ratio is maintained, allowing many eyes to be kept on the children. Headcounts take place regularly. An important part of our safety is involving the children in their own safety precautions. At the beginning of the session the children work along with the adults to set boundaries for their play in that area. It empowers the children to be involved in their own safety and ensures they show safety precautions a far greater respect.
We usually have two qualified members of staff and volunteers /Ratio: 1:8 age 4; 1:10 age 5+
Is there a minimum attendance ?
