We are doing everything we can to try and provide a safe environment in our woodland camp in relation to COVID-19. By implementing a number of protective measures, we will be limiting the risk of infection.

Being outdoors is a much safer type of location than many. However, we have thoroughly risk assessed our site, our activities and our operating procedures in order to minimise any risk of infection whilst in the woodland camp. These measures include:

  • Hand washing facilities and promotion of regular hand washing
  • Cleaning of all ‘touch points’ (e.g. tool handles, taps, soap dispensers, toilets)
  • Covid-secure measures (e.g. hand washing ) discussed in welcome brief and reinforced by leaders throughout sessions

The following points must be adhered to:

  • Staff and children should not attend if they have been testes positive or develop symptoms. To check your symptoms, click here.
